A cozy cafe that gets very busy! Coming around lunch time on Saturday, we had a to wait a bit for a seat (less than 10 mins). However, for a larger group, the wait was expected to be longer. I was surprised how nice and polite the servers were, as in a lot of Chinese restaurants, they aren't as nice haha.

The menu offers a good selection of food, but I'd recommend going for their lunch specials as you get some extra things for the price. Honestly, for the portions of food you get, the price is very fair. The food was delicious, and came very quick (less than 10 minutes).

The parking in the plaza can get hectic and busy, but the underground parking (which isn't far from the entrance) has many spots available!

    TIP: They only accept cash

    Decent but pricy.

I've tried this place before when it was more affordable. The taste is the same but it definitely carries a bigger price tag now.

Personally I like how they create set dinners so that you can try multiple things at the same visit. What I don't like is the strangely expensive price tag. I paid about $15 without tax or tip for a meal at an HK cafe styled dinner.

Like a better version of Firefly by FMP, you have a choice of cream or a tomato soup as a starter if you choose to make it a combo. Then you will have your side of bread with butter and a drink. ($1.25 will be added to your bill if you choose a cold drink.)

They also have gotten rid of their sizzling plates of steak - which is a signature HK cafe special. Despite the disappointment, their food was 100% on point.

We ordered a spaghetti bolognese and a cream sauced chicken. The chicken is extremely tender...it was absolutely delicious. Cooked perfectly and the sauce was savoury and tasty. The spaghetti was packed with meat and tomato sauce. Flavours were balanced with a nice sweet tomato aroma.

Overall, it was a good experience. I do wish they would consider lowering their price point, it would definitely encourage me to return more often!

This is a higher end "cha chaan teng", which is a Hong Kong style cafe similar to Golden Phoenix. If you're from Hong Kong, or you're dating someone from Hong Kong, then their parents come here to eat.

The food is above average here, in a quieter setting, perfect for the older people to enjoy a peaceful meal and sip their milk tea while reading a newspaper.  There is a wide selection of protein, such as curry chicken, and carb, such as pasta and rice. You choose the protein you'd like, and each comes with a choice of sauce and carb. The combinations are astounding.

Dicken's has been here for a long time, and it's a landmark cha chaan teng in the area. Whether you're old or young, check out Dicken's for a good quality meal.

.Dinner special for $15 is pretty good. The potion of the dish is just right. Dinner come with soup or a cup of hot drink. The dinner roll is freshly baked. Overall quality of food is good except that the taste of the tea is a bit strong. It tastes bitter. A pleasant and enjoyable dining experience.

Located in Richlane Mall, this little restaurant offers a nice variety of menu options that are of a Chinese/Western mix. Came here for lunch today at around 12 pm, and the location wasn't very busy. We were seated quickly and our meals came out at a decent time.

Food wise, we ordered a smoked salmon + garden salad, and a rice dish called Baked Chicken a La Portuguese. Was thoroughly impressed with the salmon and I love the dressing they serve with the salad! Its taste isn't very overpowering, and was thoroughly refreshing. I could tell that the quality of the vegetables were quite fresh as well. For the baked rice dish, the chicken was extremely tasty and the sauce was also delicious - a nice creamy texture with the underlying taste of coconut mixed in. Both meals were accompanied by a complimentary drink, and the baked rice dish also came with a nice hot soup + garlic bread. Overall had a good experience here, will definitely come again to try out some other things on the menu.
